• Have you ever wanted to name your kids the same name that your sibling also wants to name their kid? It's surprisingly common, it would seem. It makes sense — maybe you both loved Grandma's name, and want to keep it in the family. Or perhaps you both loved the same book or TV show characters growing up, and now you're taking inspiration from your favorite characters. For whatever reason, this is something that siblings frequently disagree on. 

  But this family has seemingly found a workaround. They seem to have named their kids 3 separate names, all stemming from one original name. Why isn't that good enough for this sister?

  Even though it's not nearly as common as it used to be in the US, there was a time where tons of people were all named like, Jim or Peter or Timothy, and everyone made due. You create nicknames, or you use your last initial, or your friends create a nickname for you that you despise and that they find too hilarious to stop using. It all works out in the end!

  These are all very different names, and it's so sweet that they're all a version of the Grandmom's name. Like, why are they bickering over this when they've done a perfectly good job at naming their kids? The name stays in the family, honors a family member, and they're all perfectly normal. Cole and colette aren't even direct siblings! 

  Let's hope that the sisters can overcome their differences here, because there's just not too much to worry about in the grand scheme of life.
